Golden Week has started in Japan! I’m hoping to run into a festival or two this week! Nothing better than Japanese street food :D Children’s Day is also this week, which is on the same day as the Boy’s Festival, so we get to wish our little one strength, power and success in life (by hanging paper carps and samurai dolls!). It’ll be a good day to be a boy :D
Enjoy Scene 3 – “Playing God”!

Interesting developments for Chapter 7!
wow cool cool cool
AWESOME. D: I love the last thing Andrius says, so like a true vampire of the olden days. :3
Brilliant development. He really knows what is needed to trick people, turning their faith against them. I applaud you Joe!
Wow. So messed up. But in a totally awesome way. Enjoy the Japanese festivals Joe. If they’re anything like the Korean festivals, you’ll have a blast. Sadly, I don’t live in Korea anymore, but I really, Really want to go back someday soon.
Nice, got to go to Canada. I knew there was something about this place that makes it better against zombies XP
this makes a lot of practical sense. a boat large enough to make the trip to Europe needs a crew.
Phillip says around the beginning: M-my family?! How do you about them?!
How do you about them? TYPO!
Why is Andrius trying to manipulate the young boy when the family’s head is the father ?… The father is a strong believer, he would be easier to manipulate. :/
i think were all hooked on chapter7!!!
Have a Great Week Joe!
@Dairadh Yes but the boy is more emotional right now plus he is exposed. it would be interesting to see him try to manipulate other family members though.
@RicksterEpicWin – Thanks for the catch! Fixed! :D
Oh, how cruel :D But interesting. I like where this is going.
Also it’s a bit strange that you celebrate Children’s day now (I checked it on wiki) because for us it’s on the 1st of June (or at least the last week of May). What is really close now is mother’s day on the first Sunday of May as per usual.
Nice to see Andrius getting some character development. Great chapter!
Glad to see you’re keeping it real with Soulless, completely Evil Vampires instead of those sparkly wimps the world seems accustomed to nowadays. Makes me sick that they’d turn their backs on the horrific ways of old.
Huh, so apparently blood works like a mood ring. Who knew?
stop adding new story arcs! there’s far too many right now! grah!
The episodes are further apart, but longer and more awesome now. But I think the old 3/week system was better.
HA!I knew Canada’d be safe! Who said our cold weather was a bad thing!?!?
Bad guy rule No.1: always screw up things for the hero JUST as things start to go right.
The only problem I find myself having with the story, is that were embarking on a huge tangent (again) and leaving behind the core characters that the entire last chapter drew us into. The last time we went on a tangent like this, it took me almost a whole chapter to start to “care” about the main characters again. While a small tangent is nice every now and then, prolonged departures from the main group are detrimental to keeping the audience interested in the main story arc. Not to say this couldn’t be interesting in the long run; but I just don’t know that I care enough about it to hear it out. :(
Andy, you horrific bastard D:< ! Not cool!
But a totally cool chapter so far :D . Good jobb!
Andy seems like an allegory of Satan here.If so, I am intrigued.
He kills only those who are happy and lets those who suffer live until they are happy…?
in the book World War Z, the zombies frooze in the cold, a lot of people went to Canada, a lot of people in a cold land with no food. great plan
i noticed it only now but apperently zombie breakout apocalypse etc will always start in america and no one ever says something about europe this is propably the first time zombies will reach the east
Gosh, finally I can comment xD (The older scenes didn’t have the boxes for commenting)
Only discovered this awesome series a few days ago, and now I want morreeee!!! :P
Awesome job, Joe! Keep up the good work! :D Enjoy the festivals!! :)
The kid obviously has the mother’s sympathy but the father seems quite stubborn. Wonder how Andy’s going to convince the neighbours staying there. They seem quite skeptical of everything.
Europe is vampire land,so if I am right the zombies aren’t there.
This means that I,as an Italian, hope that when the Pocalypse comes I’m a vampire! :D
Is it only me or does this one skip a lot of conversation. I think it rapidly flashed some dialogue from Andrius a few times. Other than that, first post for me but I’ve been enjoying your story for a long time. The format is truly innovative to me but its the story that’s the important part and you’re doing great at that. Gratz and looking forward to more.
WOW. I always like Andrius.. and now, it seems I liked him because I didn’t know how… cynical? cruel? evil he can be. He is an Abomination after all, a disgraced would-be-elder, but still, “Make them content so I can destroy them…” that’s bitter
Welcome home Atty! For this is your new home
Haha, thanks Neo :3 It’s good to be home :P
Oh noooo! KKeep resisting Phillip!
