I’ve submitted the news to a few game sites, but I know there are more out there. What’s your favourite game news site? I want The Pocalypse Defense 2 to be known by as many people as possible!

Enjoy Scene 4 – “What If He’s Right?”! We haven’t seen the original crew in such a long time, I had to give ’em a small part :D Sorry about the long wait, last week was pretty insane!

Best scene yet Joe.
@ABacon: If they were to use the proper vocab that people would use in these situations it would be a little more than just PG, think of it as translated nicely.

Yay, Joe and acquaintances are back! XD And yeah, Bernie has been getting really lenient and careless when it comes to Joe and what info he gives him.

When Joe says “Then I’m gonna kick all ‘yo asses.” The apostrophe in the ‘yo should be over to the right, saying “yo'” instead.

Good scene. I liked the snow effect. It took me by surprise. But the blood pouring out of the cabinet I found to be particularly… mysterious, in that I don’t know what purpose it serves. Is there some blood-filled cabinet somewhere that someone’s going to open up at some point?
Is it a metaphor for something? If so, what? Dang, it’s left me baffled.

Oh well.

I’m looking forward to seeing Joe’s reaction to that news, and I’m hoping it’s generally lukewarm due to him trying to downplay how much he cares about Rosa. But maybe… maybe it’s about time Joe moved on, romantically speaking. I mean, I would be happy seeing them both move forward, even if it’s not the most innately romantic thing that could happen. And remember the old saying: “If you marry on the strength of puppy love, you’ll end up leading a dog’s life.”
I kind of think they had a puppy-love thing going on… so I believe them going their separate ways isn’t the worst thing that could happen.

Actually, Tai, I’m not sure that’s correct. Using ‘yo’ instead of ‘your’ doesn’t really have a proper use, so there really isn’t any rule dictating how it should be done. Because it’s done for character/voice, as long as the author uses it the same way every time he uses ‘that’ voice, there isn’t a wrong way to use that apostrophe, especially because he’s omitting the word ‘of.’

Hmm… I see what you’re saying. I didn’t assume he was omitting an entire word, so I arrived at a different conclusion. OK. That makes sense. But it does make me wonder if the apostrophe even belongs there at all… I understand about character voices and all that, and I see where you’re coming from, but it -does- make me wonder if the “‘yo” ought to be like that.

But as you’ve shown, there’s reasoning for it. I suppose that apostrophes often rely on the audience’s knowledge of what was contracted, don’t they?
Even if I contested the line’s grammatical accuracy, I smirked upon reading it the first time. Good ol’ Joe. I hope things end up well for him and that they don’t spiral down a more tragic route.
