Woohoo! :D Our Ludum Dare 25 Jam entry, “Dr. Vile in The Greater Good“, nabbed 2nd place Overall in the competition! :D

We didn’t know what to expect, as this was our first Ludum Dare and there were hundreds of other great entries in the Jam, so getting 2nd Overall is super awesome! Now it’s time to expand the game and get it out there while the gettin’s good! We’re planning a larger game (not TPD2 large but MUCH larger than the original Dr. Vile), which will feature:
– More weapons and tools to get Dr. Vile through the droves of Dr. Vile-haters!
– More zones to pillage and plunder!
– More Lexe!
– Perilous dungeons to conquer!
– Upgrades to Dr. Vile and his Lair to make him a more efficient crazy bastard!
– A crafting system so you can choose what to make for Dr. Vile!
– The chance to finally finish off that smug, handsome, do-gooder – Dr. Ben Evolent!

I found a typo “I know that they will little have effect.”, the little and have should be switched.
Also, forgot to add, is Dr. Ben Evolent really a good guy, or even a scientist? Could pretty much just be taking credit for other people’s work, while appearing to be nice and all that; kind of like that Lockheart person in ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” — listened to what they did and all that, then mind-wipe them and claim the actions were his (or something like that, read it like 4/5 years ago so I only remember the important parts).
First place probably went to that overated crackpot Dr. Ben Evolent. Curse him!
i would like to say something about zombies evolving.
yes i am aware there can be regular zombies or zombies that spit acid at ya…L4D2 is fun :3
but since i seen the warm bodies trailer i now see that a corpse is slow and stupid.i think
until i saw the “bonies”

if its a regular zombie then what most people would of(other then some breaking down of course) is aim for the head or run like hell becuase zeds are slow
what im talking about is how the Bonies in that warm bodies movie are basically a zed all the way down to the bone almost with a very skeletal like form…and freaky skull head and like no eyes thing….and the fact they sense the heartbeat in people makes it to where people start crapping out brick houses

Distaste for an action does not prevent a necessary action, at times. Not one of those guards is hurt (except maybe Jake, but that won’t be permanent).
Scrufflebeck will heal in time, given some water, given past precedent.
Honestly surprised Joe didn’t just freak out and blow up the entire squad there. Victor did a lot more damage than I thought. Also surprised Victor didn’t freak out and slip a little out of his prison over that damage.

Btw joe as a side note and a games designer myself and from a family that works in the industry (my bro is working on GTA V as we speak ^_^)
But it sounds like your taking on too many projects at once,which in my experience has always lead to disaster,i highly recommend finishing one project off before starting another.

given what he survived in the past i´m confident that scrufflebeck will pull through, but i´m a tad worried about what rosa did – killing that stubborn idiot would be alright with me, but all those soldiers? lets hope they´re just unconscious….
Note to all scrufflebeck worries,plants dont die that easily only fire usually kills em and even then they grow back in time. But i seem to recall scruffy being hurt before and him evolving into a better bigger dog.
