It’s been a week since getting my eyes fixed and everything’s been great! Just a few things to get used to :D Looking in the mirror was the weirdest thing at first – I hadn’t seen my own glasses-less face clearly for pretty much all of my adult life! I imagine people who get plastic surgery feel the same way haha
I still find myself reaching for non-existent glasses on my face. When taking a shower or going to bed, the last thing I used to do – for years – was to take off my glasses. I still reach for my face out of habit only to grab empty air :D

This update was really good! Liking the quality animations. I feel once Joe gets past this initial stage, he will have even more drive to defend New Hammerston and mess up Other Joe (can’t remember his name, heck!)
Congratulations on the success of your eye laser eye surgery! Also for a second there I thought Joe as about to turn back time, that would have been a crazy twist.
Joe holy crap, he’s in command of his powers… Imagine what he could do.
Now is the time for some actual character development on Joe’s part. Just a smidgeon of “care” for the people other than his sister and dog. He’s the most powerful being, so naturally having a better personality kind of risks making him overpowered, but his personal development is a long time coming. A hint of humility, or something. The trauma is the kick, now make this natural.
(I’m not giving you orders or anything, author Joe, I’m just frustrated at character Joe in the same way I’d be frustrated at a person.)
@SMITHBANGBANG Me too… I was also worried he’d somehow screw with time itself. It seems not though. But, and this is unlikely, his attempt to make things back the way the were, whatever he was doing in his tantrum in the hospital bed, I wonder if it did actually do *something*… But, probably not. Either way, I’m as excited as I’ve ever been!
Wow, apparently I guess I have a lot to say. Just, I’m glad to see all those votes for the comic :) I hope this makes it more noticeable to webcomic readers again, and you gain a fresh new following. Rise up on TWC, you deserve it!
