Easter with kids is just as sugar-filled as Halloween with kids. I don’t know what to do with all this chocolate :D

i thought Joe make more scary move.
But he use brain instead of brutality. Nice change. I think Joe is more… Mature than before.
@SilverMaxy – He is slowly becoming the “Return of the Jedi” version of Luke. I like this change.
@SilverMaxy @Cubix I agree, and I’ve been waiting for this for years. I’m glad that the big slowdown is over so that the plot can advance to this point of character development. Now that Joe’s a little farther along… I hate to say this, but I really think Bernie should take a hit to his sense of innocence, or his pillars of justice. I think the idea is that Scott is going to do that, but it could be anything.
Ahhh man I love this. Joe is beginning to shine bright.
Anyone else reminded of the Brotherhood of Steel?
GUYS. It just occured to me, what if Bernard Sr. (Bernie’s father) is at the other colony? I think this could be the dawn of lots of story elements shaping together and being revealed…
@SMITHBANGBANG
The “Get the technology and to hell with any civilian casualties” kind of mentality.
Oh god I did it. I’ve read through all of the Webcomic in almost one go. And I must say, it got better over the years. Not visually – as good as was – but story-wise. I noticed this around the time new groups started appearing and I suddenly understood that the Joe was the weakest link in the story. He was a little spoiled brat, not important to the story at all, and everyone behaved like he was nice to them at least once, but truth be told, in all the comic he never did at least one good thing to Bernie or Jess – at some point I actually wanted this to be over already, but then we switched to new heroes and it got even better. He was just too oblivious and self-absorbed to the point of driving the comic pointless. I mean, there’s that moment when Sam is telling his awesome story and suddenly Joe interrupts him saying that this is boring. BORING. Sam was bored! I mean, that was just plain rude. And everyone behaves as if he’s really great usually. Like a Deadpool, tired of his own comic and ruining it for the reader.
Apologies for the rant. I just wanted to say that I really like the part where Joe was almost non-existant and I’m happy that he’s finally not that cutout of a character who’s only wish is to pee in the wild.
Overall, a great comic and I’m really sorry that the Defence game 2 went on hiatus at around the same time the comic slowed down heavily. For me, Joe’s son was born around 4 days ago, and now he’s six. That’s fun.
