Just watched Nobody with Bob Odenkirk and oh what a fun ride it was! Like Liam Neeson and an older Denzel Washington before him, I didn’t see Odenkirk as an action star but being the awesome actor that he is, of course he nailed it :D The movie was also much better than Taken and The Equalizer. I’d say it’s right on par with John Wick (unsurprising as they share the same writer) while leaning more on the comedic side which I think fits Odenkirk perfectly.
Check it out if you’re looking to scratch that John Wick-ish itch :D

Woah, what just happened? I thought Joe pulled a GoT twist on us all of sudden. Must admit that part of me was like all for it, even though I somewhat liked Cory.
I think if it happened, the only difference is that sam is faster, did it alter the perception? or they put him in a dream … remember that now he is more machine than human … a machine controlled by sam
Wow i did NOT see that one coming!
This was incredibly shocking and i am very interested to see how this actually happened.
@Dave Think it’s a sort of perception/virtual simulator trick.
Like how machines need to be told before hand how to go about routines; here Bob was loading up the routine, it was stimulated, but because the simulation didn’t go the route Sam wanted, it went with some failsafe or something.
……..
This took a fucking turn.
Holy smokes.
This took an INSANE turn.
And its so EARTH SHATTERINGLY GOOD. Joe, my dude, holy smokes man. Incredible job sweeping the rug right under us to show we were actually on a flying carpet all along and are now freefalling into even crazier shiz. That’s how you do a twist. Amazing job man.
Woah, Joe, what an awesome scene! The animation of Bob’s attacks looked so great. And something about the pixel art on the crater just looks amazing.
I’m so interested to find out what’s really going on here. I’ve no idea why Sam is so interested in Philip but he really seems to be engineering everything to lead to some specific outcome he has in mind. Such intriguing and believeable characters you’ve made here Joe.
Great job!
Whoa! There’s a glitch in the Matrix. Talk about blue and red pills.
Holy smokes! My jaw dropped to the floor when in an instant Oscar was turned in a fine mist. You sure had me there Joe!
