Ok DC! | August 9, 2021

The Suicide Squad was surprisingly great! I completely skipped the 2016 Suicide Squad because of bad reviews and endless YouTube videos making fun of it so imagine my surprise when I saw that The Suicide Squad had 90+% on Rotten Tomatoes. Had to give it a shot. The Snyder Cut was pretty good so I guess I owed them one.

Didn’t know I’d enjoy it so much! It’s completely over the top in every sense but it still delivers a coherent story, good acting, and smaller but still satisfying character arcs. With the recent mediocre offerings from Marvel (understandable after Infinity War/Endgame), it’s refreshing to see a DC movie do something different and super rated R :D

I respect Andrius for this. Finally open, albeit crushed and restricted by Sam. I doubt he’ll have a change of heart, but I appreciate the open honesty rather than open deceit, even if he was a bit dramatic with the “Andrius was right” comment.

I legitimately don’t think he’s wrong.

“And, Phillip… your father will be proud of you will become.” oh man that threw my brain in for some turbulence. your father will be proud of what you will become? other than that, thanks for sharing the scenes as always! probably dont plan on watching suicide squad, seems most of the DC stuff is just… decent i guess. i dunno, just not too much into comic booky movies really.

@Joe dialogue at the end says “your father will be proud of you will become”, I think it is supposed to be “of WHAT you will become”?

@Joe Line near the end says “your father will be proud of you will become” – I think it’s supposed to be “of WHAT you will become”? Probably typo there.

So they needed an immature, childish superpowerful mind to go head to h…err… mind to mind against Joe? Sam will only need to show him how to be funny, besides showing how to use his mind powers, OC.
At leas he’s not a socipath like Joe.
