So of course I took my kids to see Eternals. It was okay :D
Dune being the last movie we saw, I couldn’t help but make comparisons. Beautiful visuals, interesting concepts, and a world full of sci-fi magic. And, it has the same problems. Too many dull characters (you cold easily knock out half of the Eternals and tighten up the remaining arcs) and hours of boring exposition. Eternals was trying to fit way too much into one movie – an Avengers-like team all introduced in one instalment. Imagine if we got Avengers before we got Iron Man or Captain America, etc. We haven’t had time to care about these characters or relationships but due to the rising stakes and global/universal threats of this Phase of the MCU, we’re forced to connect with these all-powerful beings through a conflict that makes Thanos look like a Sesame Street villain. It’s too much, too soon, and I don’t buy it. Crazy that it’s the worst reviewed MCU film, though. It’s still better than Captain Marvel and Black Widow :D
You know what’s amazing, though? Arcane! It’s a new animated series on Netflix based on League of Legends and I’m loving the visuals, the voice acting, the characters, the lore, even the music! It’s definitely something to look forward to every week and, best of all, my kids are into it, too :D

So much for him being a mediator, he pretty much said the one thing he shouldnt have… nothing new considering his personality i guess.
Will we really be losing Arborry (Arbor+Arbiter+Harry) already? Maybe, but then again Scrufflebeck is in the blast as well. But would the machines allow him to escape this time with all the times he’s managed to do so?
Jess straight up running in defeat, leaving two injured allies and Arborry alone… she must be feeling even worse now, especially with her doubting her brother’s current condition. She’s likely to return to the colony to ask for reinforcements… or to confront Rosa about the truth.
Oh, right. A previous theory is out the window at present, since Harry did not warn Jess that he was not human, but machine. Which means he has not been unknowably turned into a machine as I had previously theorized was a possibility. Then again, its possible that only thise that Bob has murdered have had said treatment, and the old man did not actually make an appearance in the slightest…
I exclaimed “oh no!” audibly. Dang, this is tense.
