I’m glad that the Rusty/Jan/Nathan/Annika arc is being well-received! It’s fun going back and forth and having more than one group of characters to work with :D
I downloaded Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic from the App Store last night and it’s pretty much the reason that the scene didn’t come earlier. I must say that it has aged quite well, both graphically and gameplay-wise! BioWare really knows how to make ’em. I remember wanting to play KOTOR back in 2003, but I didn’t have a computer powerful enough to handle it. Now it’s 2011 and thanks to the convenience of the App Store (no, Apple is not paying me to say that. Cheap bastards.), I am now catching up on the fun :D

I have nothing against these updates, but Joe kind of is contrdicting himslef when he said he’d be concentrating on the other survivors for the whole chapter… He’s giving both groups equal spotlight

I think Joe might mean he’s focusing more on them storyline wise. Really there aren’t any relationships being built or torn down here except Bernie and Joe, and we’re getting a little background on Joe. Hey, maybe there’s a bit of foreshadowing here. Perhaps we’ll meet one of Joe’s relatives. That would be interesting. Perhaps we already have? We sure don’t know a lot about Annika… yet she still seems like an important character somehow.
Dang it Joe. You’ve gotten me too interested in your comic. Now I’m making storyline theories.
Actually, the spotlight isn’t exactly equal. There’ve been 5 scenes that included the “new” survivors and just 2 with Joe and Bernie. Besides, nothing important has happened to the duo, whereas every scene involving the other 4 has been fairly crucial to their stories.
OOh, first playthrough of Kotor. I envy you, Joe. If I could give myself selective amnesia I’d totally forget the plot of Kotor just so I could play it for the first time again.
Also, you totally have to visit tattooine first. After you’ve been there, you’ll understand why.
I love the way Joe is just doing it quite randomly, more cliff hangers and such. I don’t want us to just forget about one group and then suddenly they come back! I always want to know what’s happening with Joe, Scrufflebeck and Bernie! Introducing more characters always makes a story interesting, and it’s great comparing the two groups – one with specialised weapons and powers, to ordinary people who could be your friends or family if a zombie apocalypse ever happens! Thanks for keeping us updated, Joe! I hope everything is ok in Japan, after hearing all these things on the news!
Bernie is very suddly with how much of a badass he is, on a first impression he seems pretty wimpy but he’s got skills to match any hero in any other movie, he’s so badass he doesn’t need to show it off

I’ve only seen the 6 movies and played Galactic Battlegrounds, so I don’t know how big of a fan I am. I do enjoy Star Wars lore, but I haven’t read any books or comics :D

Apple hates me. I redeemed a iTunes card back in December, and it didn’t go through, so I spent about 1 1/2hrs making a very detailed e-mail about my problem, and the person who answered me didn’t even read it. They skimmed it, and asked me some stupid questions that were answered in the e-mail. Then I tried to explain to him, but he said “Sorry, I can’t help you.” and I never got help from Apple again. D:<
