I got an Amazon Echo Dot for Christmas as my first smart speaker. It’s incredibly handy for random questions, quick weather and time checks, and for controlling a smart TV. Just “Alexa, blah blah blah” and she (it?) basically Googles for you, no typing, no reading. Never though I needed one and, really, I still don’t NEED one, but it’s a fun gadget that has more than enough convenience value to definitely keep and use. Kids love it too :D 4-year-old daughter just had to say “Alexa” correctly (It’s not “Alexia”)
One thing that I’ve joked about is how the device is always listening… just waiting for its trigger word. Everything we say is going into this device. Is it recorded? Is it stored? Is it being sent somewhere? I personally don’t have a strong opinion either way when it comes to privacy issues but I can definitely understand why someone would. On one hand, I don’t care that Amazon can hear that I’m talking about soap a lot and it sends me soap deals and promotions but, on the other hand, we are all entitled to a private life, regardless of the products and services we use.
Anyways, sorry the scene is late! “Alexa, post Scene 51.”

Yeah I had an Amazon Echo for a bit. I used to joke to my Big Mouth Billy Bass that it was always listening and sending all my conversations to a data base where the Illuminati aliens could monitor all the info they had on me. I said it was a good think I had my tinfoil hat on, otherwise they might even be able to read my mind. The Bass laughed. The Echo laughed. I shot them both.

Amazon Echo really do sounds like a fun gadget to have. Unfortunately in Brazil that kind of things are a little… out of our reach hahaha.

So, Victor only knows Frank by his original name, “Bob”. Interesting! I’m glad we get to see him again. Although I’m sure our boy Powerfist will become as powerful as he needs to be to protect the people he cares about, it’s so good to see that Simon and Victor are powerful rivals, potentially more powerful than Joe. I’m hopeful that Joe will be able to meet the other shells in person one day, and that they can actually become the family Joe has mostly lost now
