I’m having such a blast telling this story so far! I feel like a kid again, standing in front of the class, reading a tale that I wrote the night before to get an A in Language Arts. I’m reminded of the very first story that I can remember that got some applause.
It was about a boy who gets stranded on a deserted island and finds a monkey friend that helps him with survival. They build an escape raft, but the boy realizes that he loves the island and does not want to leave his monkey best friend. So, he stays on the island until something unexpected happens.
The volcano in the middle of the island begins to erupt. In a panic, the boy takes the monkey, boards his escape raft and casts off. As he sails, a violent storm approaches and capsizes the raft, sending the boy and his monkey overboard.
The boy wakes up in the comfort of his bed, realizing it was just a dream. His feelings of relief are quickly flooded by his feelings of grief for his lost monkey friend. Suddenly, the boy hears sounds of his monkey underneath his bed.
The End! :)
Enjoy Scene 7 – “Abomination”!
Oh man joe is gonna crack the shits when he wakes up :P
Just found this a couple days ago and I’m so happy I did. I never realized I wanted a flash post-apocalyptic webcomicky kind of thing, but apparently I did. Really really badly. +1 loyal fan =)
Thanks for following :D
Knew it knew it knew it….
That guy in the third cells a creep!!
and Ha, take that everyone who thought he was dead.
By the way, I liked your monkey story its cute.
Where are you goin’ with this? Hmmmm…
LOL.
Well, now we atleast know that it’s some scary-red eyed guy in the third cell wich can talk to Joe while he’s uncounscious. That doesn’t help much.
But the story is great so far! Keep it up! :D
Mutant that is totally repulsed by his looks and therefore considers himself an abomination, perhaps Bernie’s dad?
Hey, great strip! One thing, are Bernie and Jess related?
This is great! i haven’t seen too many flash webcomics around (‘When I am King’ and ‘Orneryboy’ come to mind). Thank you for this rare treat. Great story so far.
@Chilingsworth – Thanks for reading!
@Dez – Thanks! I enjoy Orneryboy :D
ARGH, I NEED MOAR. MOAR MOAR MOAR.
I’m loving it. Update faster. The animation reminds me of Habbo Hotel.
There needs to be more violence and making out.
@Riou – MOAR IZ COMING! :)
@Toaster O’ Vengeance – Thanks! I wish I could update faster :)
@EvilEarl – Haha :D
When did Bernie and Jess catch and imprison those zombies at prison cell #2, and why?
On second note, Joe’s gonna be in ecstacy when he realises he’s immune against zombie infection. Right after he stops steaming over attempted murder, that is.
Love the abomination illustration.
