I think it’s amazing how far robot technology has gone in the last few years. It makes me think that, at this rate, robots will replace servers, greeters, and every other profession that is demonstrated in the video, in our lifetime. That’s all fine and dandy with me, but once they’re able to make webcomics, I’m in trouble :D

As far as the robot and juice? It felt incredibly scripted, like a really complicated version of the old PC game “The Incredible Machine”. So no, not impressed.

I don’t think we’ll have a problem with the robots until they program the stick out of that things ass. I’m not sure why some of the most complex technology ever invented has to look so damn uncomfortable lol.

I always knew Joe was a dick. I have to say, it takes either a good sense of humor or a lot of self-deprecation to name a character after yourself and turn him into such an ass, man. XP
But, seriously, I hope Sam’s alright. It’d be a shame to see him die so early after being introduced. I also hope that Joe gets his just desserts rather soon.
I was just thinking, the powers in dream world are any different than the powers in the real world?
actually the Honda-bot is impressive not for the software (chatbots are more impressive in that regard) but for the hardware. While there was not proper smoothness in the programming tweens for the Honda-bot’s movements, the mechanics behind the bot’s movements allow for plenty more than I’ve seen on four-legged robots. The mechanical engineering behind the new Asimo humaniod-type robot is superb. They just need a better AI for the machines rise to supremacy.

i got a couple things to say:
1. about sam, if Bernard created him -or at least his shell- does, at some kind of level, make him a sibling to Jess and Bernie? just want to get the mental family chart straighten out.
2. i suppose on the end of the last vid, elder said ‘he still lives’ i guess he meant sam, and wants to mind-kill him, which leads me to this. is Joe still under debt of the elder?
3. i thought, even for the elder, you had to be in the area to mind-communicate, it’s been stated by Andy(Andrius) that “one has the ->potentialvampireslimits<- too."
4. i wish the existence of Joe would get explained soon…

To everyone who said that it’s not impressive what the ASIMO bot did. Think about it.
Use enough strength to hold a glass to not break it nor to make it fall it’s a LOT of calculations,which until now were impossible from machines. Then,analyzing & knowing that the person that wishes to take the glass of water is holding it.. it’s probably over 5 terabytes of programming,calculations,analyzes and errors each action of the robot.
Yeah, but that’s a lot of work just to do something that a human child could do with ease.
I’m so totally not a fan of Dominick. He just reminds me of so many good villains XD
