Saw Black Panther a few weeks ago (whenever it came out) and enjoyed it! Definitely lived up to the hype :D I wouldn’t say it was my favourite MCU movie – I think Iron Man is still on top of the list, along with Spider-Man: Homecoming and Civil War – but it does deserve all the accolades and acclaim.
On top of it all, knowing more about Black Panther and Wakanda, I’m even more excited about Infinity War! Still not a fan of Guardians but, it’s okay, I like Chris Pratt and Bradley Cooper enough to accept the whole team :D
And how about Danai Gurira as Okoye? She was amazing and I’m glad she’s been able to flex her acting muscles so she can eventually free herself from the unfortunately sinking ship of The Walking Dead. I remember seeing her for the first time on-screen and thinking “Where have I seen her before?”. Then, she put on a wig and BINGO! It’s Michonne! :D
Then there Michael B. Jordan. Loved him in Creed and he was an incredible villain as Killmonger. So good that I kinda wanted him to win. Or at least <<<<<<<< SPOILER!!! >>>>>>> not die at the end :( It would’ve been cool to see Killmonger in Infinity War and beyond but I guess his story had to come to an end.
Great movie overall – go see it if you haven’t already and add to the box office records :D
Oh, and, unrelated, what’d you think about a certain pivotal character dying on a certain primetime AMC zombie show? I thought it was well acted and it admittedly made me choke up (being a father and all) but I can’t say I like the direction the show just took. We’ll see what happens! Will the mantle pass to his sister?

The conversation felt as casual as Samuel being hungover and stranded after pub crawling and Greybane not being surprised anymore.

Fantastic update, excited to see more of the dragoons if only for the discussions of morality in apocalyptic settings. i love that you’re rejecting the generic “every man for himself” approach. humans are pack animals, and no great enemy or conflict has ever been resolved by people making a genuine effort NOT to work together. the pocalypse’s themes of people coming together during times of crisis has always been really fascinating to me, i think. super hyped for more
