Is anyone else curious as to why zombies ignore mutants? I’d think they’d go for anything that moves, but this suggests that pocalypse zombies operate on scent rather than sight. Maybe one of their mutations is to smell differently to the zeds, in addition to hunter jumping abilities, purple blood, and being butt ugly.
Judging by the fact that the mutants still seem to feast on flesh (judging by the last line of this update) either they’re a more highly evolved form of, or they are something similar to a zombie. In every zombie movie I’ve personally seen, I don’t recall seeing two zombies attack each other.
The real question, in my opinion, is why the black guy always dies first. 0_o
I agree with you Aethrys it has to be an alpha mutant or something, plus Joe I notice that even after the scene ends the fire is still cracking and popping it kinda makes the end a bit eerie. Grats on this your making the comic more and more story driven, plus since when did a mutant get the right to use a flipping gun!
on the pink blood think you need to be seriously mutate to collor your blood like not having hemoglobin a protien that makes blood red and transports oxident

Awesome! That’s an interesting approach to mutants…are they similiar to I Am Legend monsters? They seem rather like intelligent, superpowered zombies like those in the movie.

see this is why you always aim for the head, this way you don’t use up all of your bullets before the boss fight

I just noticed… That guy was the first non-NPC ood guy to die in the comic!
NPC=> not even worth a speaker sprite
The first and ONLY other non-NPC to die as of yet (within the story arc, not memories, excluding reapir-possible Robot) was the vampire woman!

The fact that he has a sprite for talking makes him an important character. Some game’s characters are normally unplayable except with the use of cheats, but characters with no alternate sprites for certain events are impossible to attain even with cheats. As such NPC can also be used in this text
