Some fairly interesting developments. I suppose I should be upset that the Dragoon woke up, but I’m not =P
That’s it, I’m crying.
I understand that the process for these comics to come out is rather slow… but the suspense is killing me!!! i wanna know the whole story already!!
I think they are going to meet the religious family. Whether or not the dad’s an religious idiot, I am feeling that he knew that bitten victim can be turned into zombie and used religious metaphor to keep himself sane.
@Lukas Lee More than the process of making comics taking time, I think it’s life rearranging priorities for author Joe.
I find that the Green Pixel games Joe makes are a good way to buy time while waiting for the next comic,
after all they remind us that Joe is making games now because this comic inspired him to animate *and* code.
Thusly waiting longer for the next comic, because Joe is making awesome things for us and a larger comic post than most 5-day a week comics do in a month, is entirely worth it.
Else if you want more comics to read I put a link to a comic hub I enjoy in my above nametag.
uh… did i miss something?
I dont remember the doc being plugged into the hivemind…
@Joe: Sorry, I seem to be MrCorrecter.
Doc [to Samuel]: “We will have to make due without your brain”
should be “make do”
@robert: nor do I…
LAST!
Starting a new trend :D
@MrBester – You’re right! I had to look that one up :D Thanks for the catch!
@Joe Unless the port at Brookfield isn’t the Hammerston port, I am guessing something will happen that MIGHT start tying things together somehow, or at least reference the group on the Ark. As for the rest of this, once again, I loved it. I also came up with a character I was thinking about using in my fanfiction sometime in the future. Go ahead and use it yourself! His name is Dr. Joseph Blackburn, and although I originally thought of him as an evil and/or insane scientist with glasses and black hair, feel free to use the name how you want. ;) Just be sure to give me credit for it. XD I also have another character I use commonly that I would be willing to let you use as well if you want. He’s normally a good guy, but when I thought up Blackburn a few days ago, I figured perhaps he could be a genius with physics, even mental physics, and perhaps be an equal for my other character somehow. Problem is, I’m not a physics genius, so coming up with ways to make him an equal is quite difficult without throwing in a complete wimpy cliche, especially since my other character was created with the original intent of not having a TRUE equal. Still, I can probably come up with something if you need it. Once again, feel free to use either character in whatever way you want, as long as I get credit for them. If you want to use the second one, just ask and I will tell you about him. ;)
Port…? By any chance could it be the same port that was being occupied by Andreus and Cross?????
Aww i want to know about Annika. Crap
why do i have such an urge to see this as a daily series on TV? who needs The Walking Dead, when this could be on TV? (except for the time when The Pocalypse is not running on TV…)
what about that ship which was set out for Europe or whatever ? And when is joe gonna meet Annika?.OmG !!! I cant wait.. anyway great work . \m/
Epic, as always
So um. When are they changing their shirts? No one seems to mind the big blood stains.
@Booieann: In the post-apocalyptic world, no one cares about minor things like blood stains and tears. only survival. even if there was laundromats, resources are scarce. we much rather use electricity on technological advances than cleanliness.
lol
my birthday is tomorrow woot!
so far one of the things i am wanting….is pocalypse to keep going as one of the best comics(or animations) on the network
thank you Joe for a fantastic apopcalyptic like story, please keep it alive
@scavenger – Happy birthday and thank you very much! :D
I did birthday stuff myself today! My family and I have some huge, life-changing events coming up so I’ll try to get the scene done as soon as I can! Thank you for waiting and I’ll keep you all updated when things are settled :D
Huge life changing events? My bets are on Joe getting a tv in the bathroom, now THAT IS life changing! FTW!
This comic was okay, but not nearly good enough to maintain fans when it’s updated so infrequently.
@James You do realize that Author Joe has a life and a family, right? He doesn’t live to serve us. Sure, we get a little impatient as well, but that is what makes the new comics all the better.
I think it’ll all be better when Pocalypse 2 come out, because I think that’s 90% why the updates have slowed so much. But it costs money, so I’ll have to cry anyway.
@Pseudonym_ You do realize that people aren’t forbidden from giving anything other than glowingly positive comments, right? A lot of people are thinking that the updates are slow, he just voiced it. Sure, there’s Pocalypse 2 that they’re working on, but that doesn’t magically make the matter of the lack of updates disappear, now does it?
Da fuck Joe? Where all the comics at? Sheeeeeeeeeet.
I be waiting like a mutha up in this bitch for ages.
@ Acadian Bacon – you try doing all the things Joe does and lets see if you can post that comment again with a clear mind. I for one know trying to make a game while juggling kids and family life takes a shit load of time up,it wouldnt surprise me if he barely gets 5mins to himself to go to the toilet.
My annoyance was not directed at Joe, I personally can wait for another episode as there’s a crapton of other content out there to entertain myself with. What I don’t like is the policing of opinions. The problem I had was attacking someone for voicing an opinion that wasn’t conformist. Sure, James has the wrong idea about Joe and the comic’s update schedule. But maybe he didn’t remember about The Pocalypse 2. I sure didn’t. I just look at the comic, and sometimes I read the comments.
I think maybe you should realize that the sycophantic mob mentality can hurt a webcomic’s fanbase more than hurt it.
… I sense a possible war between the Human factions…
You all absolutely have the right to voice any and all opinions about the webcomic here! :D (Except malicious stuff, of course!)
I thank you for your understanding and for sticking with The Pocalypse, even when scenes are infrequent – especially compared to the regular 3 scenes per week schedule. I understand that many of you wait for scenes and I’m happy that you let me know that you’re waiting. It lets me know that the scene I’m working on is going to be viewed! :D Again, thank you all for waiting and don’t stop posting your positive and negative feedback. I enjoy reading everything :D
