Am I the only one excited for Shazam! this weekend? When I first heard about it and saw the trailer, I cringed harder than at the Aladdin trailer. But then it stared getting great reviews and suddenly the trailers looked entertaining. I am the most fickle, most easily manipulated person in the world :D
So, naturally, today’s Endgame trailer absolutely blew my mind and now it’s all I can think about :D … That and Game of Thrones.

They should stay together.
Ono this is literally how people die in zombie films
But honestly tho limeridge is so godforsaken the most dangerous non-humans remotely close to “targeting” limeridge are
1. Noah
2. Simon
3. Any zombies in the basement feral enough to be hungry
Wow! I finally caught up!
I remember reading this webcomic in middle school… then life happened, and I hadn’t read since Chapter 9. Now, so many years later, I’m back! Great job Joe! Keep up the good work!
@Roach Your comment made me reminisce on the Dark Ages… That period between Jan 22 2013 (Chapter 8 Scene 14) and Aug 18 2016 (Chapter 9 Scene 7) that we do not speak of because pain was in our hearts. 3 years, 6 months, and 27 days of Darkness. We are forever grateful that The Pocalypse is once again glorious and mighty.
Why yes, I did spend around 40 minutes compiling a history the Dark Ages of The Pocalypse, dating the chapters and noting significant breaks because I felt I should.
DID YOU KNOW that Joe had not posted a single chapter in April or May between 2012 and 2017 because of three years where never a chapter was posted in those months?
DID YOU KNOW the Dark Ages had two breaks that were over 7 months long? 7 months and 11 days, 7 months and 16 days.
DID YOU KNOW I am and will forever be a The Pocalypse fan and fought tooth and nail through the Dark Ages because damn it’s a good story and it was so worth checking back in every month or two for 3 and a half years.
Thanks Joe, also thanks Roach for making me create a dated document about that period because I guess I don’t have other things to do.
@Znayx Wow you’ve been on the ride for a long time as well. When did you come across the Pocalypse? I came across it some time in 2012 when I was looking at a website with some comic strips and found a link that lead to this comic. The rest is history.
Damn.
WHERE IS BERNIE?I need to see him!
(Keep it up Joe:) )
Haha the nostalgia trip! I remember I came across the Pocalypse from playing The Pocalypse Defense, which was back in… 2011. Wow. What a journey this has been.
@Znayx – Wow! Thanks for all the research! I definitely remember the Dark Ages of The Pocalypse (which is now the official name :D) and how it really was kind of a dark age for me as well. Moving back to Canada from Japan, being a family man, and working studio jobs that I always felt were great but not my final goal were all a very tough and stressful balancing act. The Pocalypse was always on my mind and I never wanted to give up on it – I knew I would return to it eventually. Just didn’t think it would take over 3 years to get back on my storytelling feet :D
All of you, whether you’ve been with me since the beginning or a new reader, are a constant reminder that The Pocalypse is something that I can always turn to when I feel stuck or stagnant. You all remind me that, even if it takes years and years, I can find a way to climb out of any rut, any hole, or any challenge.
I’ll always be grateful to all of you :D
@Znayx Thank *you* for those interesting tidbits! And yeah, I remember the Dark Ages well. The Pocalypsecalyspe, if you will.
@Joe thank you for coming back to it! Your webcomic was a big part of my childhood, and it’s been a blast coming back to it in my semi-adulthood and seeing how much has progressed. Heck, this update happened to come on my 20th birthday! I caught up on this webcomic as I left teenager…hood (is that a word?).
