Just finished my Lasik procedure and I feel great! Not supposed to be looking at a computer screen so I’m writing this before the procedure assuming it went well :D
Gotta send a huge thanks to everyone posting comments and discussing the story :D It’s one of the main things I missed when the comic was on a lull! I love all the suggestions and speculations – I get a lot of awesome ideas from you guys and I’d be lying if I said your posts don’t alter the story in my head :D

Also I now noticed the only drawback of not having Flash. I can’t “rewind” scenes anymore or stop it to check for small details. Oh well.

Well, she can’t die form just that. Or rather, *they* can’t die from just that. Someone or something will come to help Rosa put a rein on the murderous plants mental suggestions to Rosa. Perhaps Sam will, or maybe this event will rouse Joe into action.

I really hope that somebody gives the plants the verbal smack down they need to realize the following facts:
1) The people who are rebelling are those who had lost loved ones to the plants, and thus have justified paranoia and hatred towards the plants.
2) Their attempt to kill the rebels through controlling Rosa only reinforced the rebels’ belief that the plants are still little more than mindless beasts.
I really missed this comic… So much nostalgia!
Can’t wait to see the next update, now that I’m all caught up. Maybe the forums will get more traction now. Trying to get more people to read, too.
I’m gonna try to be more active. It seems I’ve been in a slump myself these past few years!
I agree with you, Thomas. The plants, however, have had similar interactions, and these things can’t be overcome within a few days. I think that it’s very possible New Hammerston will lose unless something pulls them together, likely Joe. It would also be a really cool plot twist if Bernie’s dad or someone that knows him shows up all decked out to save the day, but it seems kinda unlikely and anticlimactic.
I also get a feeling that maybe this isn’t the last we see of Annika. Maybe that’s just me in denial, but I dunno.
Joe, I have to say, I left the scene for a year or two due to troubles in school and have just recently come back. It is always nice to watch and read your comic and remember the good times, thanks Joe!
