I’ve actually had this track (and a few others!) for about 10 months and I’ve FINALLY found a proper situation to use it in! I’ve also had submissions from others and I haven’t found the perfect scenes to use them in yet. But, their times will come! :D Thank you for your submissions!

Just a small typo where Samuel says I do not know who you are. You put I do not know who your are. One letter but I thought I’d say it. Great job Joe. I just have to say don’t stretch yourself too thin in these projects of yours from doing the Pocalypse please.

Sam was made immortal. His old bodies die off, so new bodies are forged for him. That’s how he is hundreds of years old!

Doubt i’m the first to think this, but it’s looking like Joe’s body was stolen by ‘them’ for Sam. But Sam was expecting a ‘fresh’ body (cloned mabye?) with no prior occupant..

Also, with sam back in control, joe took control of cubert’s body as a host. i bet inner joe didn’t think of creating a body! Thumbs up by me joe XD

When I first started reading this comic last year (when there were only three scenes, I found it kind of fun, but not really great. Still, I added it to my weekly list of webcomics. Now, over a year later, a real plot has developed, there’s real tension and danger, the writing has improved (your people feel like real people, and the banter is WAY better) and things are generally better. So yeah, what I’m trying to say good sir, is that this comic possibly wins the “most improved” award in my book, and is now among my favorites.

So… now we have body-snatching telepaths as well as the vampires, killer plants, zombies, mutants hybrids and possible werewolves? What’s next? Aliens?
Hm, my theory was almost right. I could never imagine that Sam was THIS old, but well, it is said that vampires are as old as the humankind. Now the intriguing part, if Joe was somehow “designed” to be Sam’s new body, how he ended up with that “inner Joe” inside him and he has memories, so it is a new soul/mind, different from Sam’s one. The vampires must have done some very nasty things to Joe’s mom. Can’t wait for the next parts.
@Guvnorium – Thanks! I also think things have improved! Like everything else, writing gets better with experience and the feedback I’ve gotten from all of you has been more helpful than any writing class! I’ve never taken a writing class, but I’m sure reader feedback is much better :D
It’s possible that sam IS inner joe, but was originally only partially awakened due to Joe’s mind being there. When the mind-bomb was set, it may have triggered something, and joe being shot broke the suppression. Inner joe, until then, was more like an unrestrained subconscious, with no checks on emotions. Now…well, sam is reasonable.
Is Katherine… Andrius’s mom?
The classic cliff hanger that author Joe is known for,*sigh* I’ve missed that. In other news Sam does seem to have some type of deal with vampires, and we’ve already met Katherine who is an exile, and this whole magister title is intriguing, the plot thickens!
So many mysteries… but I have a feeling that we’re about to find out why Katherine and her buddies were exiled.
What I wonder about is what happened to Other Joe.
Wait Old Empire? New World? is this a reference to America and the British Empire?
Wait… what?
that’s all I can say right now…
We now know more questions.
Time to wait for answers.
Then theories can be made in full.

I like that Joe’s form is just a crude as his personality. I dunno, but it’d be cool if he ended up becoming a villain.

I just remember who he is!! When they were in Joe’s mind the elder told him that he wasent the first person to enter the dream world…. but i never thougt he woud come in to the story… and now i want to know more! O.O Great work Joe!!! xD
