HOW COME JOE WASN’T WORRIED ABOUT ANNIKA AT THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY? I was beginning to think that he was a really idiotic, little brother who cared for no one1 Ok, he still is, but he’s showing emotions that he usually wouldn’t show elsewhere! Maybe he lost the memory of the accident that brought him to that hospital????? I guess things are starting to look up for Joe’s background (now we’ll see if he was born or adopted too! If he’s adopted, he could be one of the superminds that were mentioned before, if he was born then he is simply being possessed by one of them AKA Victor)
This is gonna be so interesting when they get back to the colony!

the ship goer’s mother, victor and joe where gravely sick volounteers, they took the mind eradication drug bernie’s father’s coworker made and where reawakened with sam’s alter egos.
There are still a lot of pieces to fit in this huge puzzle. Joe is Annika’s brother, but he is also Victor’s vessel. But if he really is Victor, then he couldn’t be Annika’s brother since he was “dead” and just a child, unless they aren’t blood related, that would make more sense; also, Annika says she has other brother(s), and since the machines said that Joe is subject #x (don’t remember the number) so it has a chance (99%) that he is Victor since he appears to be the younger subject, but we are still missing the other subjects. We don’t know if they are all alive or dead, but one thing is sure, they could all be connected through Sam, and he should be able to track them down. Nevertheless, I’m LOVING The Pocalypse more than ever. I wonder what author Joe will come up with next time. Fantastic job man! :D

@Kulta My brain hurts, but I think I know what you mean. Allow me to explain in a tl;dr version for the others.
Joa and Annika are siblings. However, Joe is, for some reason, using Victor’s body. The real Joe body is dead.

@Philazkill- Yea I’ve been noticing the subtle connections to the fox since Victor or “Other Joe” was introduced and they seem to be almost identical in how they give power to the one they inhabit, but they still don’t fit the story of how it happened so I’m satisfied with how this is turning out greatly.
Plot twist for next time: He was talking about a different Annika.
“You will die out there.” *KLUNK* “Let me go!” I lol’d when I heard the klunk sound. Doc must have one heavy suit for it to just klunk when Joe tries to push it to the side. Which makes Doc even more of a bada** since he can even use the thing without getting super worn out after only a few moments.
Annika really is his sister eh? To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if it just happens to be a coincidence and Joe and the Annika we know aren’t related. XD

And then when Victor took away his memory since he woke up in the hospital, he remembers more of his past.

It seems to me that Joe was born into a family with Annika but got sick and volunteered his body. Then the Pocalypse happened and already having “died” once, Joe seems to have lost his previous memory. Now with his present memory lost, his past memory surfaced. If his “mind” can be fixed, he might remember everything, before and after the Pocalypse.
Man this is a problem that shouldn’t have happened. the amnesia is really coming at the worst time, and Victor is a real bastard. Twisticidiccliffanger
Also, one other question. A while ago, there was a guest scene called “Telvino Dalvak” The name obviously inspired New Hammerston’s neighbor city. Did they ever make any more scenes?

I think this is real joe, and this is his true way of being. Sam will find it easier to teach him how to use his powers, and then he’ll be superjoe again!

I still hate Joe though. I really don’t care what his circumstances are, but he’s got such a toxic personality i really can’t root for him that much.
@Joe Are you a fan of the walking dead series? And if so did you play or watch videos about the walking dead video game? I actually cried in the ending.

@Joe That sucks. If I could afford whatever Adobe program(forgot which one) you use to make The Pocalypse, I would love to make some. I even have a few basic sprites set up for a couple of characters. Le sigh, maybe another time.
Oh, almost forgot. I had an idea for TPD2, but I don’t expect you to include them because I’m not a donator. I was thinking about hybrids, kindof like Andy. Such as a zombie/human for an enemy. A human who is only partly infected for some reason, and it makes them slightly faster and stronger. Or maybe a plant/human who hides in alleys and sells you stuff. Just things like that. Wow, this comment turned out longer than I expected.
@ Pauric yeah no kidding. The thing is though he was so annoying in the beginning i almost stopped reading the comic altogether. Thank goodness i was cured of my idiocy quick enough to go ahead.
@ Pseudonym yeah, that guest comic thing was great actually i wish the thing was pursued more to be honest. I have no idea how Joe gets this stuff done though but i imagine it’s not at all easy, but i wish i could do one.
@Pseudonym_ & Marduk – I use Adobe Flash for animating scenes and, yes, it ain’t cheap D: I would love to see more guests scenes! One thing I’d like to create in the future is an online tool (for everyone) that simplifies the scene-creating process and uploads the finished scene to The Pocalypse. After all, The Pocalypse has affected the whole world and I’m sure you all have awesome stories to tell! :D
I’ve read all of the comics of The Walking Dead and I can say. They’re very different from the series. I like the comics better but the series is still really cool.

Joe, I’ve been following this webcomic almost religiously since the day after the release of TPD1 and I can say, ever since seeing Annika, I’ve noticed a similarity between her and Joe. I’ve pointed it out in many episodes and even had a nice little chat about your storytelling techniques, especially when it came to the whole ‘sister’ thing. You’ve dangled me over the edge countless times before pulling me back in. But now, finally, you have done it
