Winter is Here! :D | July 14, 2017

Who’s ready for the season premiere of Game of Thrones this weekend?! I know I am! :D

When I think about it and look back, it’s possible that watching GoT heavily inspired major changes in the vibe, tone, and story of The Pocalypse. I originally planned the story as more of a comedy drama with silly, slapstick humour (especially with Joe). Shows and movies like GoT showed me that death, loss, and tragedy are important and those themes are more relatable to me (I’m not the funniest guy haha).

Great stories really influence me and The Pocalypse (hopefully for the better) so here’s to more awesome shows and movies and to another great season of GoT!

Enjoy Scene 54 – “Mama Mia”!

Damn, Victor is still a cold, heartless son of a b****. Even more so when he’s in robotic form.

Good job, Joe, as always.

When Joe gets home, he’s going to fuck Victor up, unless scrufflebeck kills him first. If Victor harms Scrufflebeck though… It’s going to hurt.

should´ve listened to the plants, bernie.
also, after what we learned from mia, its a no-brainer that captain a#hole will try to backstab them….even though it should be obvious that joe+rosa are more powerful then any tech.

I’m glad the story turned out this way. I mean sure, the concept might be a bit non-serious (I mean if not for the superpowers, the machines would win this war hands-down anyway) But you manage to balance the drama and humor well. A more slapstick series would just feel a bit off.
Joe really felt a bit out of place in the earlier seasons compared to the semi-serious tone of the world around him. Now he does feel part of this world.

Am I the only one so eager to watch the new scene that went to the websote like three times today already?
